My wife chose this restaurant during our stay in Funchal, and it was an excellent choice. Although we had not booked, the team kindly accommodated us; reservations are nevertheless highly recommended, as the restaurant was packed.
We dined outside and received attentive, efficient and genuinely pleasant service throughout the evening. The cuisine is simple yet refined, sophisticated without ever being pretentious. The starters and desserts were delicious; my wife’s lamb was beautifully tender, and the octopus I had was exceptional.
Portions were perfectly judged: satisfying without being excessive. As we do not drink alcohol, the overall bill represented very good value considering the quality of both the food and service. Highly recommended.

Our visit to Olivia was completely unplanned, and it ended up being one of our favourite meals. We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff were kind enough to squeeze us in, which we really appreciated.
For starters, we ordered the prawn curry and the oxtail croquettes both were incredibly rich, flavourful, and absolutely delicious.
For mains, we had the octopus and the lamb shank, and we genuinely loved both dishes. Everything was well cooked, beautifully seasoned, and very satisfying.
For dessert, we tried the guava cream and the sugarcane crème. These were good, although not quite what we were expecting. That said, they were still enjoyable and rounded off the meal nicely.
Overall, we had a really lovely experience and would definitely recommend it.

Прекрасний заклад. Сервіс на високому рівні, страви дуже смачні, порції доволі великі.
Замовляли качку (подається з різотто та овочевим салатом), ангус (подається з картоплею фрі та овочевим салатом) та креветки каррі.
Качка просто танула в роті, а кавовий соус до телятини був неймовірним (це варто спробувати).
Краще замовляти декілька страв і ділити з друзями
